Trailrunner HQ was founded in 2024 by two avid back-of-packers, Christian Saucedo and Matt Van Dalsem. At lunch one day they started to talk about ways to apply their business experience to their passion when the topic of Christian’s experience with corporate event apps came up. They wondered if they could apply the same software and expertise to trail events. They started brainstorming and within a week had a working demo.

Trailrunner HQ was born.

While a for-profit business, we have based the company’s values around the same values we find so inspiring about the trail running community. We are committed to building an organization that is inclusive, caring, and a responsible member of the greater trail running community.
